Similar to the worry jar, the fluffy cloud is designed for persistent, negative thoughts.
However, whereas the worry jar is designed to be filled with thoughts that are important and that you want to occasionally reflect on and work on changing, the fluffy cloud is for unhelpful thoughts that you can’t necessarily control.
You need to take these thoughts out of your head, and the act of physically putting these thoughts into a cloud gives you the opportunity to look at them in a more objective manner. You can then send that thought away, by tapping the arrow, flicking or blowing on the cloud.
Focus on the cloud as it slowly drifts away, letting go of the unhelpful thought. This can be repeated as many times as needed.
